WHO WE ARE

We are David and Amy Haraughty, and Rooted to Rise Microschool grew from a simple conviction: children learn best when they are rooted in Christ and free to explore His creation with their own two hands.

On our homestead, learning doesn’t stay inside four walls — it unfolds in the kitchen as bread rises, in the classroom as ideas take shape, in the garden where seeds teach patience, beside the creek where curiosity runs wild, and across the land that God has entrusted to us. Every space becomes a place of formation. Through a rigorous, well‑balanced, Christ‑centered curriculum, we weave together Scripture, nature study, practical skills, and rich academic instruction. With Amy’s 20 years of teaching experience and a heart surrendered to the Lord, we cultivate not just knowledge, but wisdom, wonder, and worship in every child He entrusts to us.
